Keri Ingle Arrested? Missouri Representative’s Name Sparks Confusion After Anthony Ealy Arrest Report

A Missouri state representative has been arrested following allegations involving threats against another individual, drawing attention across the state shortly after the November election.

However, despite a misleading social media caption mentioning Keri Ingle, the lawmaker identified in police and news reports is Democratic State Representative Anthony Ealy.

According to reports, Ealy was taken into custody Wednesday, November 4, 2026, in Jefferson City, Missouri. The arrest came shortly after he secured reelection to represent District 36 in the Missouri House of Representatives.

The Jefferson City Police Department reportedly responded to an incident around 11:30 a.m. in the 600 block of East Capitol Avenue after receiving information about a disturbance involving alleged threats.

Witnesses reportedly told officers that Ealy had been yelling and causing a disturbance outside a nearby business. Authorities said he allegedly threatened another individual with violence and made a reference to having a weapon.

Ealy, 32, was subsequently located and arrested. He was booked into the Cole County Jail.

On Thursday, Cole County prosecutors confirmed that charges had been filed against the representative. The reported charges include fourth-degree assault and disturbing the peace.

The incident has attracted additional attention because Ealy had recently won reelection. He represents part of Jackson County and has served in the Missouri House since 2022.

According to election information cited by local media, Ealy received approximately 68 percent of the vote in his reelection campaign.

Social Media Confusion Over Keri Ingle

The arrest also generated confusion online after The Gateway Pundit shared a Facebook post identifying Keri Ingle as the representative involved.

Several commenters questioned the identification and pointed out that Anthony Ealy was the person reportedly arrested.

Missouri legislative records confirm that Ingle and Ealy are separate lawmakers serving different districts. The available arrest reports identify Ealy, not Ingle.

The distinction is important as the story continues circulating on social media and readers seek accurate information about the incident.

Investigation and Charges

The reported charges against Ealy remain allegations, and an arrest does not establish guilt. Further court proceedings will determine how the case moves forward.

Authorities and prosecutors have provided information about the arrest and charges, while additional details may emerge as the legal process continues.

For now, the incident has placed renewed attention on Anthony Ealy and the circumstances surrounding his arrest following reelection.
